I feel incredibly privileged to lead a specialist Sixth Form team who work alongside our students with the shared interest of fulfilling both academic potential, and shaping the whole person in preparation for life after Sixth Form.

Our Sixth Form will bring additional benefits including developing you as an individual, nurturing your self-confidence and enhancing communication skills and your ability to learn from your own initiative. We aim to provide students with the opportunity to work in an atmosphere that is both adult and caring and to contribute to the organisation of the whole school, the wider community and its many activities on offer.

Continuing education beyond Year 11 is not just about which subjects you are going to take, or what qualifications you need, but how you want to spend the next two years of your life. We aim to provide a broad balance of challenging and successful experiences which prepare students well for their next vital step – be it Higher Education, training or employment.

How to Apply

Applying to join Codsall Sixth is easy, using the application form below and referring to our subject choices on offer and the combinations. If you are in any doubt, please do not hesitate to call the school and ask to speak to member of the team. Alternatively, email sixth@sslp.uk

There are a number of different pathways you can take when studying at Codsall Sixth Form.

The first is our L3 Pathway, where you can choose up to 3.5 subjects from our 4 Options Blocks. These can be A-Levels, BTECs or a mixture of the two as long as you only select one choice in each block and follow the guidance.

The second pathway is our Vocational Pathway where you can choose a course that is the equivalent of 3 A-Levels. This will be an excellent choice for those that may wish to enter the workforce to continue their education after sixth form, but is also a suitable route for entry to many university courses.

Our third pathway is the Football Academy pathway. More details can be found on this offer under the Codsall Sixth Form menu at the top of the page.

Our final pathway is a L2 Pathway in Early Years and Child Care. This route gains you qualifications and work experience in this sector.
