Teacher of Mathematics – Full Time Permanent at Codsall High School

Codsall High is a comprehensive school for Years 9 to 13 situated in a semi-rural area of Staffordshire near Wolverhampton. It has over a thousand students on roll and more than three hundred in its highly successful sixth form.

We are looking for an inspirational Maths Teacher to join our school in January 2022.

The ability to teach GCSE Mathematics is essential.

The post would suit a teacher who is already an outstanding practitioner or has the ability to become one.

A recruitment allowance is available for an exceptional candidate.

The ability to teach GCSE Science is essential. The ability to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics at GCSE or A Level would be an advantage, although not essential.

The post would suit an experienced teacher who is already an outstanding practitioner or has the ability to become one.

Lunchtime Supervisor (with setting up) at Perton Middle School

Salary Starting at £2,114 per annum pending pay review

A vacancy has arisen for Lunchtime Supervisor starting ASAP

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to work as part of our team supervising pupils during the lunch break, ensuring a safe environment in which their developmental and welfare needs are met. You need to be physically fit and be able to interact with all pupils in the school, encouraging play and inclusion.

Do you have:

  • Experience of working with children and managing behaviour?
  • The ability to work as part of a team, building relationships with children and staff?
  • A caring nature, able to support the emotional wellbeing of children?
  • Support to Pupils

  • Patrolling the playground and “out of bounds” areas regularly.
  • Organising games and activities.
  • The post holder will have responsibility for the following areas:

  • To work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to provide appropriate support on a one to one basis to children to children with special needs during the school lunch break.
  • Supervision of Pupils:

  • One to one supervision with chosen pupils to aid their social integration.
  • Supervision of a child before, during and after the meal, including the supervising or assisting with the deposit of leftover food from plates and receptacles provided.
  • Assist children with their table manners and use of cutlery.
  • Setting up and clearing away dining room equipment such as chairs and tables.
  • Organise games and activities.
