Head of Chemistry – Full Time Permanent + TLR £4,000

We are looking for a Head of Chemistry to join our school in September 2019 or soon after.

The Science faculty is a high achieving which is fully staffed, has well equipped laboratories and secured its best ever outcomes for GCSE Science in 2018. Students enjoy Science and it is a very popular choice for students in the 6th Form (A Level and BTEC).

The ability to teach A Level and GCSE Chemistry is essential. The ability to teach GCSE Biology, GCSE Physics, GCSE Combined Science, Level 3 BTEC Applied Science, A Level Physics or A Level
Biology would be an advantage.

The post would suit an outstanding teacher with leadership experience within Science or an outstanding teacher looking for their first leadership position.

Personal Welfare Support Assistant at Perton Middle School

A vacancy has arisen for a Personal Welfare Support Assistant starting April 2019.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed Personal Welfare Support Assistant.

Support to Student:

  • Assist a child in matters of personal needs and their general health and welfare matters with specific reference to toileting and changing as required.
  • Supervise and support students, ensuring their safety by complying with good H&S practice.
  • Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
  • Support to Teacher

  • Undertake routine administrative tasks, e.g. pupil record- keeping as requested.
  • Support the teacher in managing pupil behaviour, reporting difficulties as appropriate.
  • Appropriate liaison with parents on general pupil matters.
  • Support to Curriculum

    Attend training sessions as required for CPD purposes and to ensure appropriate skill level is obtained to undertake role, e.g. behaviour management strategies.

    Teacher of Mathematics – Full or Part Time Permanent

    Codsall High is a school for students in Years 9 to 13 with almost one thousand students on roll and over three hundred students in the sixth form.

    We are looking for either a Full Time Newly Qualified Teacher or an experienced Part Time Teacher of Mathematics to join our school in September 2019 or sooner.

    The ability to teach GCSE Mathematics is essential. The ability to teach A Level Mathematics would be an advantage although this is not essential.

    The post would suit a newly qualified teacher with real potential or an experienced teacher who is already an outstanding practitioner.
