03 Apr Careers News: Careers Week 11th – 15th February 2019
In February during Careers week, all students on site during the day were scheduled to visit our annual careers fair, in total around 1,300 students attended the event. They were joined by Year 8 students from our federation schools. Year 8 Boys from Codsall Middle School joined us this year while, Codsall Middle Girls were taking part in the Jaguar Land Rover, Women in Technology workshops. This year there were exhibitions from Jaguar Land Rover, Collins Aerospace, MOOG, Barclays Bank, West Midlands Construction Technical College, City of Wolverhampton College, Telford College, Dudley College, Halesowen College, South Staffordshire College, College Prospects of American Birmingham City University, Staffordshire University, Coventry University, Edge Hill University, Harper Adams University, Royal Navy, Army, Military Preparation services, Juniper Training, Nova Training, BIMM Birmingham, Access Creative College and Codsall High School 6th Form.
During our Careers week a total 1800 students were given the chance to take part in various workshops, the workshops were provided by a range of providers including, colleges, apprenticeship companies, universities, private training providers and entrust careers advice sessions.
