Exam Results 2010

Codsall Community High School, a Specialist Schools and Academies Trust Award winning school, is celebrating its best ever exam results.  The results smashed targets to achieve, 93 % 5+ A* to C grade at GCSE. This outstanding performance together with a significant rise in A level results, with 99% of A Level students achieving a grade A to E, means that this has been the most successful year ever at Codsall Community High School.

Congratulations on the magnificent efforts of staff and students who exceeded all expectations with their results and to our partner first and middle schools for their support.

Mrs Marjorie Tunnicliffe, Headteacher said “Our students, supported once again by our enthusiastic and committed staff, have truly risen to the challenge and achieved results we can all be extremely proud of. These outstanding results provide a benchmark for us to measure our future progress; our focus will remain on delivering a first class education to each and every student irrespective of their ability and provide them with the best opportunity to realise their potential and contribute positively to society. Well done to everyone!”

On Tuesday 9th March the ICT moderator came to school to check all the ICT work done by our year 10 students from last year when they were in year 9.

The moderator found all the work was up to the required standard and confirmed that every student in year 10 has gained an A* to C grade in ICT.

Congratulations to all our year 10 students on gaining their first qualification.

Living History Exhibition

Written on September 24th, 2009 by Mr Steadman

As part of Codsall High School’s 70th anniversary celebrations there will be a Living History Exhibition at Codsall Village Hall on 27th and 28th March 2010.

The exhibition will include a `pod` for each decade the school has been open – 1940’s to the present day – depicting school life as seen through the eyes of its students. Information from interviews with ex-students, together with photos and other memorabilia will be on display.

Please drop into the Village Hall between the 26th and 29th March and while you are there enjoy some refreshments served by some of our current students.
