Codsall Community High School, a specialist Maths and computing college, was presented with two awards at a recent dinner held in central London by The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.
These were for its achievements in 2010 in terms of:-
- Success in Adding Value
- Most Improved Specialist Schools and Academies – improvements year on year 2007 – 2010 by 35 percentage points or more
Mrs Tunnicliffe, Headteacher, said “ The school has over the last 6 years made significant progress with its exam results which are now consistently well above the national average. This is due to the hard work and commitment of our staff and the enthusiasm and determination of our students. The school offers a very wide range of courses both pre and post 16 and our 6th form now numbers over 300 students. I should be delighted to show prospective parents and students around the school at any time should they wish to contact the school on 01902 434200 to make a mutually convenient appointment.”
