Key Stage 3
Learners set new records in 2009 for attainment at key stage 3 with 87% of learners reaching level 5 across all subjects. In the following courses more than 90% of learners reached level 5 in 2009:
- Art & design
- Design & technology
- Geography
- History
- ICT
- Mathematics
- Physical education
- Religious education
Key Stage 4
In 2009, our students also set new records in their GCSE examinations with results that once again puts Codsall High in the top 10% of schools in the country for progress made by their learners. The headline figures were:
- 100% of students achieved one or more GCSE passes in the range A* to G
- 98% achieved five or more A* to Gs
- 73% achieved five or more A* to Cs
More than three quarters of learners gained A* to C grades on each of the following courses in 2009:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Drama
- French
- ICT
- Music
- Physics
- Sport
Key Stage 5
Results in the sixth form improved this year with the the pass rate going up to 95%. In the following courses every learner passed the A level in 2009:
